Federated Access to NYU Langone Health Services via InCommon

Issues accessing applications hosted outside of NYU Langone Health using your NYULH Kerberos ID

If you are having issues accessing non-NYULH hosted applications with your Kerberos ID, call the NYU Langone Help Desk at 212-263-6868. Be sure to reference the URL or name of the application that you are attempting to access and where it is hosted.

Federated Access to NYU Langone Applications

Selected applications and services are available to users at partnering institutions via the InCommon consortium. These NYU Langone services present a prompt to the user to choose his “home institution”, enabling him to authenticate with his own institution’s login credentials, rather than obtaining a sponsored NYU Langone account.

Federated End User Enrollment

Existing eligible users will be migrated from sponsored to federated login, they will automatically be enrolled and able to access any applications that support federated login. Any applications that support federated login will now present users with their home institutions’ login screens.

New users (not previously sponsored) will be prompted to enroll for federated access, when they log in to a federated application for the first time.

Password Reset and other issues related to login

Any issues related to logging in should be addressed by your home institution’s information technology help desk.
